Your situation

  • You want to apply for a Bachelor’s programme
  • You are an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen or a non-EU citizen with a valid Luxembourg residence permit
  • You have one of the following:
    • a Luxembourg classical secondary school leaving certificate
    • a Luxembourg general secondary school leaving certificate
    • a European Baccalaureate

Your criteria

  • Diploma

    If you have not yet received your secondary school leaving certificate by the application period of your chosen study programme, you can still submit your application online. Make sure you do so within the deadline specified in your admission portal.

    The recognition or equivalence of the secondary school leaving diploma by the Luxembourg Ministry of National Education and Youth is mandatory for candidates holding the following diplomas:

    • International Baccalaureate
    • IGCSE, A and AS-levels
    • Any diploma not delivered by the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth (ex: the French, or the US diploma)

      How to proceed:

    If your application is accepted by the selection committee, you will receive:

    • a final admission letter if your file is complete
    • a conditional admission letter if there are still documents missing from your file (diploma or certificate of achievement, equivalence, etc.). You will need to upload these documents to your file via the admissions portal before November 15 of your first semester of studies. You will then receive the final admission letter.

    Any incomplete registration cannot be carried over to the following academic year.

    You will need to restart the admission process with a new identification number and upload your documents again. You will be subject to the rules in effect at the time of your new admission application regarding application fees and eligibility criteria.

    Acceptance of an application for one academic year does not guarantee its acceptance for subsequent years.

  • Deadline

    Please submit your application by the deadline applicable for EU/EEA/Swiss candidates indicated on your admissions portal.

    Please check the deadline applicable to the chosen study program as it varies depending on the program.

  • Language Skills

    You must show proof of your language skills according to the requirements and prerequisites of the chosen study program.
