The Course feedback questionnaire is focused on Bachelor and Master students, it consists of twenty-four questions, plus two background questions to gather demographic information.

How to participate?

Participate at the end of every semester.

When and where are the results available?

Course feedback reports are made available online for instructors and students the day after the jury d’examen of the respective study programme. No results are shared until all exam grades have been submitted and approved.

Purpose

Its purpose is to:

  • to contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality learning experiences for all students;
  • to establish an easily accessible and regularly occurring space for constructive feedback;
  • to provide students with an opportunity to reflect on their learning progress and study experiences and raise concerns when necessary; and
  • to give instructors a better understanding of what works and what does not work in their course(s).

History and feedback campaigns

The Course feedback questionnaire (formerly referred to as Course evaluation) was first implemented at the University in the academic year 2009/2010.

  • Since the summer semester 2020, the University has been using a single data collection platform.
  • Since the winter semester 2021, all three Faculties have used the same online questionnaire to collect student feedback.

  • 4305 questionnaires were submitted
  • 24,2% of students (FSTM, FDEF, FHSE, Language Centre, and Competence Centre) filled 1 or more questionnaires
  • 74.7% of courses (in BA and MA programmes) received at least 1 feedback

  • 17,112 questionnaires were submitted
  • 58.8% of students (FSTM, FDEF, FHSE, Language Center, and Competence Center) filled 1 or more questionnaires
  • 94.1% of courses (in BA and MA programmes) received at least 1 feedback
