Belval Campus, Blast furnaces and Cité des Sciences

Belval Campus

Take part in a guided tour of the Belval campus by our student ambassadors.

The visit lasts 30 minutes.

Blast furnace and City of Science

Enter the Cité des Sciences and then go to the blast furnace, where you will get an overview of the history of steel production and the transformation of the industrial wasteland into a contemporary neighbourhood with remarkable architecture and urbanism. This tour is run by Fonds Belval.

Step into the lab of the Translational Neuroscience group and explore how scientists study Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, from cells to potential therapies.

The Chemical and Molecular Neurobiology team explores how brain cells interact in health and disease. Using super-resolution microscopy and molecular engineering, researchers study neurological disorders like multiple sclerosis. Visit the lab and build a simple microscope with your smartphone.
