“Software is eating the world. Software powers your phone, your car and even your fridge. We need more and more software every day to advance in the digital transformation of our society. But who will write all this software? We don’t have enough skilled developers for that!
In this talk, we will explore the changing landscape of software development and we’ll see how Artificial Intelligence and low-code/no-code techniques can play a key role in this future by helping regular citizens with limited tech capabilities to create their own software solutions. From simple chatbots for your company website to more advanced software workflows able to classify your clients into “good” and “bad” ones, all possible apps are now just a few clicks away. Prof. Jordi Cabot is an FNR Pearl Chair and Head of the Software Engineering RDI Unit at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), and an Affiliate Professor in Computer Science here at the University of Luxembourg.
