For the start of the new academic year, the Luxembourg Learning Centre as well as the university restaurants return to their regular opening hours.

Luxembourg Learning Centre (LLC)

As of 7 September 2020 the Luxembourg Learning Centre is open again from Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 22.00 and on Saturdays from 08.00 to 17.00 to all users.

For safety and health reasons, the group workspaces remain closed. The wearing of a mask is compulsory at all times except when seated at a workplace. Users are asked to disinfect their hands prior to touching any books. Furniture and workspaces have been adapted to allow a safe distance between users. Therefore, furniture cannot be moved.

Restaurants

The full restaurant offer is available again in all restaurants. The university restaurants reopen as follows:

As of 1 September:

  • Food House and Food Zone (Belval Campus)
  • Brasserie John’s and Altius (Kirchberg Campus)

As of 14 September:

  • Food Café (Belval Campus)
  • Um Weier (Limpertsberg Campus)

As of 5 October:

Restaurant guests must comply with the current health regulations: the wearing of a mask is compulsory at all times except when seated at a table. At the entrance of the restaurant, the guests will find trolleys with pre-prepared food trays. The number of prepared trays corresponds to the number of places available in the restaurant. In case no more trays are available, guests can still purchase take-away meals.
