The University of Luxembourg has been named as one of the world’s top universities in the much-referred QS World University Rankings 2024. Out of 1,500 universities that qualify for the ranking this year, the University occupies position 381 worldwide and position 160 in Europe. Overall, this places the University among the Top 26% worldwide.
The QS World University Rankings, one of the world’s most-consulted university rankings, is a reliable and popular source of comparative data about university performance since 2004. QS World University Rankings evaluates institutions according to nine indicators, each score is calculated with a maximum of 100 points:
This is the first year that the University is listed in the QS World University Rankings on the institutional level, while it was part of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023. It has been ranked in several international classifications, including: The Times Higher World University Ranking, the Times Higher Young University Ranking and the Times Higher University Ranking by subjects and U-Multirank.
