Martina PESKOLLER-FUCHS

Martina Peskoller-Fuchs serves as Ombuds at the University of Luxembourg since January 2025.  

She is an experienced lecturer who has conducted regular workshops and training sessions as part of her role as an Ombudsperson, with a particular focus on staff members, fellows, and other dispute resolution professionals.

Martina Peskoller-Fuchs actively participates in professional forums and discussions on ombuds practices, including the European Network of Ombuds and the International Ombuds Association (IOA), sharing insights and contributing to the advancement of the field.  

She served as the Ombudsperson at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) for nearly a decade, providing independent, confidential, and impartial support to employees across a highly international and interdisciplinary research environment. Prior to this role, she worked more than 10 years in the legal and international sectors, including the International Criminal Court. Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise in both informal and formal dispute resolution within multicultural workplaces, effectively addressing workplace conflicts, fostering constructive dialogue, and promoting fair and inclusive organisational cultures.  

Martina Peskoller-Fuchs holds a Master of Law from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and completed an Erasmus Exchange Programme at the Université de Bourgogne, France. She is a certified mediator in Austria and has extensive training in conflict coaching and is certified in systemic coaching, including Neuro-linguistic programming. Her expertise also includes meaning-centred psychotherapy, Crisis Management (2007), Change Management – Registered Practitioner (APMG International, 2013)
