Your situation

  • You want to apply for a Bachelor’s programme
  • You are an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen or a non-EU citizen with a valid Luxembourg residence permit
  • You have a school leaving certificate issued by a Member State of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) or the Swiss Confederation, or issued by a school in Luxembourg which does not follow the official Luxembourg curriculum (e.g. the International Baccalaureate or Cambridge AS and A Levels)

  • Diploma
    Equivalence of diploma

    The recognition or equivalence of the secondary school leaving diploma by the Luxembourg Ministry of National Education and Youth is mandatory for candidates holding a diploma of this category.

    If you have not yet obtained your diploma (or certificate of success) and the equivalence at the time of the application period for the chosen study program, you can still submit your application online before the deadline indicated in your admissions portal.

    If your application is accepted by the selection committee, you will receive:

    • a final admission letter if your file is complete
    • a conditional admission letter if there are still documents missing from your file (diploma or certificate of success, equivalence, etc.). You will need to upload these documents to your file via the admissions portal before November 15 of your first semester of studies. You will then receive the final admission letter.

    Any incomplete registration cannot be carried over to the following academic year.

    You will need to restart the admission process with a new identification number and upload your documents again. You will be subject to the rules in effect at the time of your new admission application regarding application fees and eligibility criteria.

    Acceptance of an application for one academic year does not guarantee its acceptance for subsequent years.

  • Deadline

    Please submit your application before the deadline applicable to EU/EEA/Swiss candidates indicated in your admissions portal.

    Make sure to check the deadline applicable to the chosen study program, as it varies depending on the programs.

  • Language Skills

    You must show proof of your language skills according to the requirements and prerequisites of the chosen study program.
